Emma & Therese Children’s Project does not receive any governmental support neither from Uganda or Sweden, it is funded solely by donations from individuals, companies, churches, schools and associations.
Currently operational costs are 50.000 SEK (6.000 USD) per month.
Approximately half of that amount is received through our monthly donors. The rest via one time donations, fundraisings or sales of products to benefit our work, gifts from Rotary and Lions etc.
We are extremely grateful for all the support we get but it is important to note that we are never assured we will have enough funds. Since the start in 2011 we have seen how small contributions from many people can make a huge difference and we cannot enough emphasize how vital each donation is, regardless the size.
We would love to see the number of monthly donors increase, but knows that many for various reasons can’t sign up for long term commitment, a one time contribution is therefore equally welcome.
